We have talked about Midwest Food Bank multiple times on the podcast, and this week Grant Botma sits down with Eric Sheldahl. Eric founded the Arizona chapter of the food bank and he shares why this organization is so special, and how we can make a bigger kingdom impact practically in our own community. He also gives some great practical advice on how to become a better steward of the wealth that has been entrusted to us.
In 2016, out of 8400 non-profits, Midwest Food Bank received a top 10 ranking. Also, 99% of every dollar donated to them goes into serving. This is a very efficient organization!
Eric shares four points in giving and serving:
- Be efficient in your giving
- You cannot out give God
- Being open to big opportunities
- We all have unique abilities – USE THEM!
